Version 0.5.0 brings the following enhancements over 0.4.3:
- 3dviewer for Wintel systems, installable separately as an Eclipse feature.
- A version of the MRS} that allows dynamic adding and removal of components during runtime. (Important for long-running simulations like the a-life scenario). This functionality will be exposed as public API.
- There is a frontend (in the [toolkit) to the new dynamic MRS, allowing users to add and remove local agents at runtime.
- A very cool new feature that came with 0.5: The library view not only stores net structures any more, but also the native module implementation used by that structures. Entries in the library can now be exported (even by simply dragging them into the Windows Explorer) and imported. Thus it is possible to trade net fragments along with everything needed to use them. The library has finally become a means for managing node net building blocks. There even will be an agent distribution as importable library file (mlb file, for "micropsi library").
0.5.0 was released January 22nd.
